About North Maine Treasures

A barn full of history, run by people who never stopped digging for it.

Dramatic Maine coastline with crashing waves and weathered rocks

Our Story

In 2009, we bought a run-down dairy barn on a gravel road outside a town most GPS units cannot pronounce. The plan was simple: fix it up, fill it with the antiques we had been collecting for years, and open the doors on summer weekends.

Sixteen years later the barn has a new roof, a wood stove and more inventory than we ever imagined. We are open five days a week from May through October and by appointment the rest of the year. Locals come for the cookware. Out-of-staters come for the maritime pieces. Everyone stays for the coffee.

How We Work

We Pick It Ourselves

Every piece in our barn was sourced by us — from estate sales, farm cleanouts, attic finds and the occasional "you won't believe what's in this shed" phone call. We do not buy sight-unseen and we do not work with wholesalers.

Honest Pricing

We price fairly and we price once. No fake discounts, no "make me an offer" games. If you see it on the floor, the tag is what it costs. We want you to feel good about the deal long after you get home.

We Ship Nationwide

Cannot make the drive? We photograph, measure and ship larger pieces via freight carriers who specialise in antiques. Smaller items go out USPS Priority with full insurance.

Visit the Barn

We are located just off Route 1 in northern Maine. The driveway is gravel, the parking is on grass and the coffee is always on. No appointment needed between May and October — just follow the signs past the blueberry field.

For off-season visits or to ask about a specific piece, drop us a note.
